About The Battiston Lyonga Foundation

Our Journey of Transforming Lives and Communities in Cameroon

The Battiston Lyonga Foundation (House of Hope) was established with a singular vision: to create a future where every youth and every internally displaced person finds hope in Cameroon. Founded in Cameroon & USA, our organization was born out of a deep-seated commitment to address the pressing needs of vulnerable populations, particularly young Boys & girls and internally displaced people (IDPs). Through our comprehensive programs and unwavering dedication, we strive to bring positive change and empowerment to those who need it most.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower Cameroonians and support internally displaced people by providing access to education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. We aim to foster a nurturing environment where every individual can realize their potential and contribute to their community’s development. We believe that by addressing the root causes of poverty and displacement, we can create lasting change and build stronger, more resilient communities.

Our Objectives

  1. Youth Development: To provide educational opportunities, mentorship, and skills training to youths, enabling them to achieve their full potential and break the cycle of poverty.
  2. Hunger Alleviation: To combat food insecurity by offering nutritious meals, food distribution programs, and agricultural training to families and communities in need.
  3. Rural Healthcare: To improve healthcare access and outcomes in rural areas through mobile clinics, health education, and partnerships with local health providers.
