Why Hunger Alleviation
Cannot Wait
The Anglophone crisis in Cameroon has displaced hundreds of thousands of people, disrupted agricultural production, and pushed already-vulnerable communities into acute food insecurity. Children are the most affected — malnutrition in the first five years of life has lifelong consequences.
Our programme does not treat hunger as a charity problem. We treat it as a structural issue that requires both immediate relief and long-term investment in local food systems and farmer livelihoods.
How We Address Hunger
Emergency Food Parcels
Targeted food distributions to households facing acute food insecurity — particularly families displaced by the Anglophone crisis, households headed by single mothers, and elderly individuals with no support network.
Smallholder Farmer Support
Seeds, tools, and agronomic training for smallholder farmers — helping families grow more food, reduce dependence on food aid, and generate surplus income from local markets.
Community Food Systems
Working with community groups to establish shared gardens, food storage cooperatives, and local distribution networks that build long-term food resilience beyond our direct involvement.
Nutrition Education
Practical workshops on nutrition, food preparation, and child feeding practices — equipping caregivers with knowledge to maximise the nutritional value of available food.
