Impact Is Not a Number.
It Is a Changed Life.
We track our work carefully. But the most important measure of what we do is not in a spreadsheet — it is in the young person who found their path, the family that no longer goes hungry, the mother who delivered safely. This page tells that story.
What Our Work Has Achieved

Youth Development
A generation finding its footing
Before the programme, many participants had never had an adult outside their family invest time in their future. The mentorship model creates relationships that last beyond the programme cycle — young people return as mentors themselves, multiplying the impact. Vocational training has opened doors to employment and self-employment that structural barriers had previously closed.

Hunger Alleviation
Dignity restored, one family at a time
Food insecurity is not just about calories — it is about dignity, stability, and the ability to think beyond survival. Families who receive food support report being able to focus on their children's education, their health, and their futures. Farmer training has created lasting change: families who once depended on food aid now produce surplus.

Rural Healthcare
Lives saved where no clinic exists
The most powerful measure of our healthcare programme is not the number of patients seen — it is the conditions caught early, the mothers who delivered safely, the children who were vaccinated. In communities where healthcare was previously inaccessible, our mobile outreach has become a lifeline that communities now plan around and depend on.

We Know and Don't Know
We are a young organisation with limited resources. We do not yet have the infrastructure for rigorous randomised evaluations. What we do have is a commitment to honest, consistent tracking of our outputs and a genuine effort to understand whether our work is making a difference.
We collect data on programme participants, track outcomes over time, gather feedback from communities, and report our findings — including where we have fallen short — in our annual reports.
We measure what matters
We track programme outputs, but we also ask harder questions: Did this change anything? Are people better off? We collect feedback from participants and communities — and we act on what we hear.
We report honestly
Our annual reports include what has worked and what has not. We believe that honest reporting — including failures — is what builds the trust that sustains long-term impact.
We invest in sustainability
Every programme is designed with an exit strategy: training local staff, building community ownership, and creating systems that continue after our direct involvement ends.

What People Say
The most credible measure of our impact is the testimony of the people we serve. These are their words.
"The Foundation didn't come with answers — they came with questions. They asked what we needed, what we already had, and what we could build together. That approach made all the difference."
Community Leader, Yaoundé
Partner community representative
"I have seen many NGOs come and go. The House of Hope is different because they stay. They follow up. They adjust when something isn't working. That consistency is rare and it is what creates real change."
Local Health Worker
Community health partner
"My daughter is in university now. Without the Foundation's scholarship support, she would have dropped out in Form 4. The investment they made in her will ripple through our entire family for generations."
